Supermax

Supermax

Supermax was an Austrian disco and funk group formed in Vienna in the mid-1970s by producer and songwriter Kurt Hauenstein, best known internationally for the dance hit «Lovemachine.» Like a great deal of 1970s and ’80s Western disco, the group’s catalog circulated widely on cassette in the late Soviet Union and post-Soviet Russia, well outliving its original chart run in the West and turning into exactly the kind of dependable, high-energy driving music blasting out of Zhorik’s stereo here.
